Poster Submission

For posters please submit an abstract. The abstract should be a clear summary of the work emphasizing the major results and conclusions. It must be no longer than 400 words and should not include any references or acronyms. Poster submissions will be evaluated based on relevance, and uniqueness of the contribution.  Accepted posters will need to be no more than 36'x48' and will be displayed during the poster session and reception, during which time at least one author from each poster must be present for discussions and questions. 

Paper Submission

Manuscript Contributed papers should be in the form of a short paper, 6 pages maximum (in pdf format, font Times New Roman 10-pt., two column layout). These manuscripts must be written in English. They must be formatted according to the guidelines in the Manuscript Template. They must include title, author(s) and affiliations, abstract, as well as the text of the paper and references. Figures should be placed inline in the text. Each accepted paper will be presented as a 15 miniute oral presentation, and these will be organized into sessions by topic. Papers should be organized as follows: Title (should be clear, descriptive and not too long), Authors and their affiliations, Abstract (one paragraph not to exceed 400 words), Keywords (four to six), introduction, methods and techniques results and discussion, conclusions, Acknowledgments, and References. Tables and Figures should be included inline at the appropriate points in the manuscript. All tables and figures should include a descriptive caption and should be referenced in the text of the article. SI units should be used throughout. 
 
Abstract The abstract should be a clear summary of the work emphasizing the major results and conclusions. It should be no longer than 400 words and should not include any references or acronyms. 
 
References Citations in the text should use the numbered style, with bracketed numbers referring to numbers in the reference list [1]. Multiple cited works should be separated by commas [2,3]. Inline citations should refer in the text to the author's surname (without initial) and the citation number. For example, "Since Smith [3] has shown that ...".  All cited publications should be listed in the 'References' section, which should only include references that were directly cited in the text. References should appear in the references section in the order in which they are cited in the text.  Check spelling carefully to be sure that authors' names and dates are correct. Do not abbreviate the titles of periodicals mentioned in the References. The references list should be formatted using the following style, but follow the examples in the manuscript template for formatting.

Figures

  • Number the illustrations according to their sequence in the text. 
  • Produce images at the desired size of the printed version to reducing scaling issues during printing. 
  • Each figure must have a caption. A caption should include a brief title and a description of the figure and should explain all symbols and abbreviations used.
